We are partnering with a leading international organisation to appoint a Global Director of Total Rewards to design, lead and govern reward strategy across multiple territories.
This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for shaping a globally aligned, commercially focused reward framework that attracts, retains and motivates top talent in diverse markets.
The Opportunity The Global Director of Total Rewards will own the organisation’s global compensation, incentive and benefits strategy, ensuring consistency, competitiveness and compliance across all regions. You will operate as a strategic partner to the Executive Committee, advising on executive compensation, long-term incentive design and reward governance, while driving harmonisation across territories.
This is not a maintenance role — it requires transformation, influence and strong commercial judgement.
Key Responsibilities Design and implement global reward strategy aligned to business objectives Lead executive compensation and board-level remuneration governance Develop global salary structures, grading architecture and benchmarking frameworks Oversee short-term and long-term incentive plan design (STI / LTI / equity) Govern global benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness and cost control Drive reward harmonisation across territories while respecting local market dynamics Partner with Finance on reward budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax frameworks across jurisdictions Lead reward analytics, reporting and insight to inform executive decision-making Manage and develop a high-performing global reward team
Profile We are seeking a senior reward leader with:Extensive experience leading global reward strategy across multiple regions Deep technical expertise in executive compensation, STI and LTI structures Strong governance exposure and experience engaging with board-level stakeholders Demonstrated experience in international harmonisation projects Commercial acumen with the ability to balance competitiveness and cost discipline Experience within complex, matrixed organisations Excellent influencing skills and executive presence Professional qualifications (e.g., CIPD, Worldat Work, equivalent) are advantageous.
