Job Description
Qualifications:
• Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of newborns, particularly the ill or premature newborns, ensuring they receive the highest level of care. The Neonatologist will work in our modern Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our youngest patients.
• Key Responsibilities:
• - Provide comprehensive care to newborns with critical illnesses or requiring special medical attention.
• - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures on newborns.
• - Develop and implement treatment plans for newborn patients.
• - Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• - Communicate effectively with families, providing updates and support regarding their infant s condition and treatment plans.
• - Stay updated with the latest developments in neonatology and implement best practices.
• - Participate in training and mentoring junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

• Qualifications:
• - Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• - Board certification in Neonatology.
• - Valid medical license to practice in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one.
• - Minimum of 5 years of experience in neonatology, with experience in a NICU setting preferred.
• - Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
• - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
