Organizational Context and Scope


Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and in close coordination with the Programme Development Support Unit (PDSU) in IOM Libya, relevant Regional Thematic Specialist in IOM’s Regional Office in Cairo, and Headquarters (HQ) the Programme Coordinator (Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) will be responsible for the development, management, implementation and coordination of the Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) portfolio in Libya. They will be expected to closely coordinate with other programme managers and the Public Information Unit (PIU).
