Position Overview:
The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing diagnostics, start-up, commissioning, and maintenance of Trane HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge in HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems (VRF, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, etc.).
- Execute start-up, testing, and commissioning of new Trane systems and equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Verify system performance parameters, calibrate sensors, and adjust settings according to Trane standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed service, inspection, and commissioning reports.
- Providing training and technical support to the team for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with Trane regional engineers for complex or high-level troubleshooting cases.
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and manufacturer standards during all site activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide technical explanations and service recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HVAC diagnostics, start up and commissioning.
- Strong experience with Trane or other major HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and building automation systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical controls, refrigeration systems, and automation.
- Fluency in Arabic / reading and writing in English.
