The Senior Auditor will lead project-based external audit engagements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. The role is based on-site and follows International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Requirements

Audit Planning & Scoping:

• Develop detailed audit plans and project timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify key audit areas.
• Allocate tasks to junior auditors and provide clear guidance.

Audit Execution & Fieldwork:

• Oversee and execute complex audit procedures.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, transactions, and internal controls.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of financial and operational processes.
• Identify, document, and communicate findings on non-compliance or weaknesses.

Leadership & Supervision:

• Guide and review the work of junior auditors during project execution.
• Ensure working papers and audit documentation meet ISA quality standards.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Report on interim findings to the Head of External Audit Office and the Project Manager.
• Prepare high-quality final reports with actionable recommendations.
• Support follow-up with clients on corrective actions.

Follow-Up & Closure:

• Ensure corrective actions are implemented before closing the engagement.
• Document lessons learned to strengthen future audit assignments.
