SUMMARY: 

Responsible for overseeing all firm-wide enterprise software development.  Plans, analyzes, creates, modifies and reviews programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.  Familiar with a variety of programming concepts, best practices and procedures. Directs and oversees all aspects of application development including system analysis, design, documentation, production release, and maintenance. May negotiate contracts/agreements with software vendors and service providers. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company databases.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in related area or equivalent experience. 
• Expert knowledge in areas of application development, standards applications, documentation,
• security and hardware. Advanced understanding of PC/Network hardware and core competency in IT applications.
• Highly experienced in designing enterprise corporate wide applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dictate technical standards, including coding standards, tools, or platforms to advance business goals.
• Enforces overall IT department policies and procedures.
• Enforces overall use and methodology guidelines for software development.
• Gathers information on user needs and recommends future purchases.
• Suggest hardware and software upgrades, enhancements, new applications and equipment.
• Develops general technology roadmap for application development.
• Assists in creation of the general technology roadmap for system upgrades.
• Researching, designing, developing code to interface with all database systems and programs for unified data management, access and standardization.
• Database design and creation, interacting with Deltek Vision for database access and updates.
• Analyzing, designing and implementing enhancements to the Intranet as defined by business requirements and troubleshooting problems as necessary to maintain current business operations.
• Developing applications to support the creation, publishing and delivery of Architectural Designs.
• Developing and supporting web sites for external communication to clients.
• Performing all development tasks on time to meet business requirements.
