Position: Finance Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $10 - $55/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities Review and validate financial data, invoices, and ledgers for accuracy and completeness. Perform variance analysis and reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Evaluate exported data from ERP systems and provide clear, actionable feedback on findings. Support and document financial reporting processes, including AP/AR workflows and month-end close activities. Analyze real and synthetic finance tasks, mapping evidence to expected outputs with high attention to detail. Communicate complex findings and insights in writing, demonstrating clarity and precision.
Requirements Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial data analysis and reporting. Experience in accounting operations, AP/AR, financial reporting, reconciliation, or FP&A. Proficient in reviewing and interpreting ERP reports, ledgers, and supporting documentation. Strong analytical judgment and ability to identify and explain financial discrepancies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clarity. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with at least of relevant experience.
