Position: Electronic Engineer's
Location: Shipboard (worldwide travel)
Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of:
Hotel venue automation systems Hospitality calling systems Fire doors and roller shutters Semi‑ and light‑watertight doors Low Location Lighting (LLL) power supply & control systems Additional hotel electronics equipment as required
Qualifications & Experience We’re looking for candidates with:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent 4‑year technical degree preferred) Documented experience with marine electronics installations STCW Basic Safety Training STCW Advanced Fire Fighting Experience on cruise ships or large passenger vessels Familiarity with AMOS maintenance systems Knowledge of communication systems, computers/networks, alarm & monitoring systems Experience with navigation equipment and power electronics
What to Expect This is an onboard rotational role where you’ll work as part of a diverse technical team on a modern passenger vessel, supporting systems that impact both safety and the guest experience.
Language & Communication:
Ability to speak clear, courteous English with guests and crew. Ability to read and write English to understand procedures, give instructions, and respond to questions effectively.
