Objectives Of Job The Dcs

• programmer is the administrator for the DCS and PLC based systems (mainly Siemens STEP7, PCS7 & WinCC systems) for control of the C96/C97 facilities
• He implements new and updates existing software as required in line with operational requirements and troubleshoots problems both software and hardware related. Duties also include panel and marshalling cabinet termination works

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• HSE Performance Ensure that all works are carried out in line with Company’s HSE policy and that all personnel under his direction are aware of these policies
• Staff Performance Provide input and support to the development of National staff in line with the Company Libyan Integration and Development (LID) goals. Actively support a safe working environment and good housekeeping
• Business Integrity Ensure all works are carried out timely to maintain plant availability. Ensure that all activities are executed in line with operational procedures and recommend improvements as required Maintain regular backups to all software as required to minimize disruption Generally review in conjunction with the Superintendent E&I the requirements for test equipment tooling etc Review, on a regular basis with E&I Superintendent, Company material availability. On completion of works pass all relevant data to GMS personnel to update the Maintenance Management System On completion of works ensure details are passed to the relevant departments to update drawings etc
• Profitability Ensure all works are carried out in a cost effective manner
• Investment and Growth Provide support to all areas of the production facilities to maintain availability Provide support to projects executed in the field such that they can be completed to plan On a continuous basis review the operation of equipment and highlight problems areas with suggestions of possible solutions to overcome them.
