Position: Software Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $100 - $200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Build and maintain reinforcement learning environments for backend programming tasks. Write backend services and supporting code using Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust. Develop thorough unit and integration tests to ensure high test coverage. Review code for correctness, performance, maintainability, and security. Solve programming tasks and document technical reasoning to improve AI model quality. Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team and document engineering decisions.

Requirements

Have strong relevant experience in backend software development using Java, Node.js, Go, or Rust. Proven experience in building scalable backend systems and APIs. Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code review. Cybersecurity/Sec Ops experience or exposure is highly preferred, including application security and secure coding.
