Join a leading Australian IT and Engineering recruitment agency as an IT Business Development Representative. In this role, you will drive outbound lead generation and appointment setting, leveraging your technical literacy to build relationships with niche IT clients. This is a high-volume, growth-oriented position ideal for tech-savvy sales professionals looking to transition into recruitment leadership.
Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM PHT, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities Conduct outbound cold and warm calls to generate interest in IT recruitment services Qualify prospective clients and schedule virtual meetings with senior leadership Manage and maintain lead pipelines using Zoho CRMRecord all client and candidate interactions accurately within the CRM platform Send introduction emails and follow-up communications using company email systems Build rapport with prospects and adapt communication approaches naturally during conversations Support candidate screening and shortlisting activities when recruitment assistance is required Maintain organized records of communications, follow-ups, and appointment outcomes Collaborate with internal team members using communication and productivity platforms Meet appointment-setting and outreach activity targets consistently
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, business development, sales, lead generation, or customer service Strong understanding of IT concepts, including software development, cybersecurity, coding, and AIProfessional verbal and written English communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable handling high-volume outbound calling activities
Nice-to-have Experience using Zoho CRM or similar CRM/ATS platforms Familiarity with Slack or other collaboration tools Previous experience in appointment setting or sales conversion roles Background in technical support or IT-related customer service Coding knowledge or cybersecurity exposure Recruitment industry experience, particularly in IT hiring
