We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage all accounting and financial activities of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s bank accounts, financial records, accounting operations, cash flow, payments, collections, and financial reporting.

The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate and timely accounting records, maintain strong financial controls, coordinate with banks and external auditors, and ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and compliant with applicable regulations.

The role will also involve supervising the accounting team, monitoring budgets and cash flow, preparing financial reports for management, and providing financial information and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a managerial role.

• Strong experience managing company bank accounts and banking transactions.

• Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.

• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial controls, and cash management.

• Experience dealing with banks, auditors, suppliers, and other financial institutions.

• Ability to supervise and manage accounting staff.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.

• Ability to organize and maintain complete and accurate financial records.

• Knowledge of applicable tax and financial regulations in Libya is preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to take full responsibility for the company’s accounting and financial operations.
