Production Eng Technician Advisor

Specific ResponsibilitiesAs part of Allocation and Data Management team the Data Analytics / Production Systems Technician will work closely with the Hydrocarbon Allocation Supervisor ensuring the allocation and production accounting system (Avocet) is correctly populated and reflecting the correct hydrocarbon routing from wells to facilities. As a secondary responsibility, this role will laterally support stakeholders including Production Engineering and Field Production Operations personnel to create reporting standards and coordinating any major updates with IT and contractors.This role will be primarily responsible for the following:Ensure field and office teams are aligned with Avocet inputs and daily allocation results.Support field staff during initial training and subsequent Avocet and reporting queries.Engage with Field and Office stakeholders to create SQL queries and subsequent reporting standards in Spotfire.Incorporate any digitalization improvements and high frequency data enhancements in daily reporting.Laterally support the creation of Avocet Solutions such as Chemical management systems or enhancements to the Production Loss Interrogation processes.Qualifications & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:Minimum experience of 2-5 years in Hydrocarbon Allocation or Hydrocarbon Data management role. Preferred degree in scientific or engineering discipline. Ability to communicate equally effectively to management and production technicians. Detailed understanding of Allocation algorithms and schedules, allocation and production reporting, production data management systems Working knowledge of operation of onshore oil and gas processing facilities.
